Position Description

RN Clinical Supervisor

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the nursing care teams, ensuring optimal staffing levels, compliance with clinical standards and collaboration with all clinic teams.
  • Provides direct supervision and support to nurses and clinical support staff, ensuring quality patient care processes.
  • Responsible for recruiting, selecting, orienting/training, and evaluating nursing staff in collaboration with administration and human resources.
  • Serves as key resource for all clinical staff.
  • Collaborates with Nurse Manager and practice leadership team on development and implementation of nursing department’s mission, goals, policies, procedures, quality assurance plan, and clinical standards.

Skills/abilities:

  • Strong track record of successful leadership within multidisciplinary clinical teams.
  • Skill in applying principles, methods, and techniques of professional nursing.
  • Skill in identifying problems, researching, and recommending solutions.
  • Proven ability to manage the overall provision of nursing services and build consensus among staff.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary clinical teams in a collegial and professional manner.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and deal effectively with competing priorities.

Experience:

  • Minimum five years of professional nursing experience including two years supervisory-level experience.
  • BSN from accredited School of Nursing, or prior bachelors degree plus ADN and relevant RN supervisory experience required.
  • Unrestricted Washington State RN license and current BLS certificate required.
  • Medical clinic experience strongly preferred.
  • OB GYN/Women's health background strongly preferred.

Salary DOE

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $70,000.00 to $85,000.00 /year
